I just fin watching 08th MS gundam~!!!! lol~ I think I watch straight through the whole 11 ep. [the extra ep. was so in badly quality I can't even watch it without having a headache.. I still wanna see it tho!] & I think it's GREAT GREAT GREAT~!!! I think Aina is terribly CUTE [now I know why everybody goin' jealous over Shiro~u sly] lol~ she's too sweet~!!! & Shiro was cute & funny [I didn't even think of him as Yushiro 'till he start talkin' seriously..he's adorable when he get f**kin' serious~ Hiyama-sama is my definate Luv now~!! as he always was~I luv all his roles even the mad-Azrael :XD:] their romance was abit cheesy but hey I was like OMFG I luv SAPP & WAFF~ this is too CUTE~!!! now more cuddle pls~!!! The ending was kinda cruel alil' but not too much~ I'm still happy they get the Happy Ending they deserve :sniff: Good Luck for them~I like u guys so much~!! I was watchin' the series hoping to see them get together again & again & again...now I'm satisfied XD the rest of the crew was great too~ I think I like Kiki alot XD so who's 'BB' anyway?
I must admit the only thing missing from this series is 'Space battle' scene~ I think Gundam can't survive long without Space.. see Turn-A & GX.. they both got too lil' Space scenes & see the result? BORING~!! but 08th still manage without it which show how strong the story line is but I was hoping alil' that they would continued their fight in space in later ep. but no such luck.. lol~ why no one wrote some fic over 08th MS? I thought it was a whole lot BETTER than the crappy G-seed & GSD~ I wanna see WAFF ShiroxAina fics :XD: I probably gonna choke from sugar-high tho~lol

other news~ Luna deliver 4 kitties XD & she just got a surgery last fri, she's now well & heathy. so u remember I say here that we will name one of the kitty 'Diana' if it's gray... know what? they all got gray fur... so now what? we got 4 Diana's~!!! OMG now 4 is too much.. what r we gonna do? [anyone want one?]

Yeah, the 08th MS team is quality universal century in action. As you can see, Universal Century focuses a lot on realstic mobile suit action and gritty war events as opposed to the craptastical Cosmic Era.
Hiyama did a wonderful job as Shiro, he is my all time favorite Seiyuu. (He is also the King of Braves, Gaogaigar, my favorite role for him...so you have to see that whenever I refer to the King of Braves, I'm referring to him) Hiyama is known for voicing hot blooded characters with special attacks (Shiro: I'll give ya Double!) and is pretty damn popular. Hiyama appears in GS as Azrael, a role that did him no justice.
Also, what's wrong with GX? I think it's great, the Frieden took a lot of damage, which is realstic and really pitted the main characters against awesome odds. I love Jamil Neat, I think he is a capable captain.

If you're looking for other quality Universal century, check out Gundam 0080, Gundam 0083 and, of course, Zeta Gundam.

well I actually like Jamil myself [like making fun of his moon talk]:XD: he was the best thing in GX~[Caris was also great] but the rest was like Oooooo~ I dunno too damn predictable~I can't keep my eye open without having Jamil on screen to distract myself. lol~
I think I must have fallen off my chair when I realise that Hiyama-sama did 'Azrael'~ I have to listen again & still didn't think that was him~!! [so I guess he's great for being able to make evil voice like that & not get noticed as himself] now I have to go see Gaogaigar :XD Hiyama-sama <3 <3

Well, Hiyama did a lot of excellent roles...like Demitri from Darkstalkers, Tippei from B'T X. Hiyama also made a special guest appearance as the Ochazuke Alien in episode 5 of Bobobobo (Take that, Ochazuke Beaaam!)
The second best role for him, after the Gaogaigar, would be Hiei...it was the first time I heard his voice. Be sure to look out for him, he sometimes makes a special appearance without anyone noticing.
When I'm referring to the male-male slash, I remember your original review for Gundam X. you stated that you hated it because Jamil didn't end up with his rival as a lover.
Anyway....since you've been bugging out on the fic, I'll let you in on a little spoiler. It will turn out as Kira+Freya in the end. I mean, jeez...have a little patience.

woah~ so u did read my blog~ :hide in shame: lol~ I was alil' pissed off coz I don't think any females is good enough for Jamil [so I'm sorta Jamil-mania for awhile~<3 <3] & his reaction with that doctor was kinda cute~ guy thing [even my bro thought they would make a great Yaoi couple.. apart from him agreeing that GarodxCaris would be good too] but that's not the whole reason why I think GX was a tad bit boring~ alot of stuff happen was quite plain simple, predictable.. well I admit after watching series like 'Planetes' I can't seem to cope with normal anime~ I was choking with GarodxTiffa thing [not that I don't like the couple but it's just too sappy]& I'm far less fascinated with the 'new type' theory [eventho it brought Caris in the spotlight].. the only thing keep me watching was 'Jamil'~ heheh same goes with G-seed wathcin' coz of 'Fllay' only~ XD I was hoping he would go single till the end~ or atleast go along with his best bud~ no slashing actually~!!
I only know Hiyama-sama from his role as 'Yushiro' in 'Gasaraki' [my long time obsessive series] & he was great in it ~<3 <3 other is 'Chenshin' in 'Planetes', a new insert chara [it as if they create this guy just for him, the nice next door guy who doesn't get the girl~ but I like him anyway] I get to watch 'Yuyuhakusho' in Thai-dubbed so I don't get to hear his great voice as Hiei :(

I was like 'Why did u do that? let the freak-doll airhead get the bullet?' I didn't hate Meer one bit but it's ashame she should take all the blame for being like Lacus :XD: GSD is absolutely hopeless~ but my freakin' bro still think its cool.. for the mecha not the chara or the story line...

By the way, I got a question...did you actually finish Turn A Gundam from start to finish?
I watch Turn-A up to the middle of the series [at the time my bro only have that much] but I was screaming over the anime quality, the production was simply too plain for my taste.. [even the original Gunbuster can beat this anime] the villians look almost like it pop out of some 80's cartoon [so damn one dimentional]^^; but I like Gwen tho~ he's funny & cute too :XD: I like him for creating 'Laura':P
so I was already turn off at the time.. after that my bro show me a couple of the last ep. I have to admit that I 'HATE' the opening theme [Turn-A sound so cheesy in my language] & the ending was quite scary [no nakkie Diana pls~!] I dislike the directing of Tomino so much I would not think about seeing the original Gundam.. my bro only like Turn-A coz of Akiman chara design which look pretty creative to me~<3 I like Rolan & Sochie. so I was rather disappionted that they didn't fit together.. IMO they treat Sochie so cruelly, she lacking so much in chara-development..it pissed me off :(
I think I only enjoy the part where they show all the gundam from recent series XD [get to point out which one from which] I did have the 2 version manga of Turn-A tho [one presume Rolan dead in the end was rather shocking but quite refreshing as well coz he didn't have to end up being with Diana <- least fav]
lol~ I didn't exactly hate Turn-A that much :XD: but I think it'd be much better if it was directed by someone else~ just not Tomino! [he have great ideas but couldn't seem to place it right]

Actualy, not! Who the hell are you to insult the great Tomino? Without him, there'd be no gundam and that also means no 08th MS team.
I'm in Turn A episode 46 (4 more to go) and I give the series B+. It's quite good, actually.
Here are the things I like about the series:
- Storyline: The idea of a barbaric civilisation against a much superior advanced one is great. Any anime that has underdogs fighting for survival gets an A in my book. Plus, the story became quite dark when the earthlings kept refusing Dianna's peace offering time after time.
- Music: Awesome! 10/10! Beautiful, this Gundam has the best music ever. With the exception of the idiotic OP theme, the scene music rocks so much! No wonder there are over dozen albums for Turn A. A mix of scottish pipes, Irish tap dancing and operatic theme gives it a majestic feeling.
I love the Moon song, I have it in Italian(?), I'm gonna go get the Japanese version.
- Fighting: The last ten episodes had some good battle scenes.
- The Turn A theory: Tomino's mad genius strikes again, he made the definitive Gundam that everything (including X, G and W) are connected.
Gym uses the Shinning Finger (G Gundam refrence)
The Gym squad have a Giga-particle cannon called Kasliegh (Victory Gundam refrence)
The Zakus and such (Universal Century gundam)
Turn X Gundam (Gundam X refrence)
All in all, a good series by the legendary Tomino...now here are the things I hated.
- Character design: Everyone seem to be drawn in 80's style back when Swiss Family Robinson was released...still Turn A proves that you don't need good drawing to make a good story.
- Loran: The king of all faggots...I thought Quatre was bad enough, but this sissy takes the cake.
- Souchiie: The uber-bitch...and don't compare her to Fllay, Fllay matured but this stupid bitch remains an idiot who keeps beating Rolan...still, the machositic asshole loves being beat up so i bet he enjoys it.
- Voice acting: Souchiie's voice is the worst! There was a scene where the Nuclear explosion took place and her character seemed to be shouting...yet her VA just said 'aaaaah' like she was yawning...ugh!
- Names like Gavane Gooney and Moron Moron prove that tomino is between Insanity and Genius...
Well, that's it. That's the gist of it...I like Dianna, she's no Lacus Clyne...she cries, she makes mistakes, she almost died...she's more human than that over-inflated God-moder.
Finally, watch other Tomino's work before you pass judgment. I'm watching GSD so I can pass judgment without being ridiculued that I have not seen it.
And also, Mahq (the definitive reviewer of Gundam) gave the series 5 out of 5...what does that tell you?

[I used to hate it when I was lil' coz I was into the 90's cartoon] my bro only care for the mecha details while I was only into characters. I won't get to see any Gundam series without the help of my bro so I have to relied mostly on his judgement [& he doesn't give a shit to '08th MS' so I have to beg my new friend to send me a copy = that's why I never knew of this series up until now coz I just got curious & still my bro crit it for reminding him of 'Captain Tyler' geez~]

[maybe I'm into the tom-boyish type that's why I got attracted to Cagalli evenbefore I get to watch the series] Diana.. well I hate her unemotional eyes & the fact that she could switch places with Kiel from time to time disturb me to death~ awwwww~ I just don't find her attractive enough to get me hook >__< no offense~ I hate that ending with her getting nekkie.. looking at Rolan butts is already enough as it is [& I didn't even enjoy it that much]
well~ u can say that u don't need a good-lookin' character for a good story but it's the first thing that lead me to the series [I kept looking for 'Shugo Murase' work's coz I find his design attracts me eventho his directing skills just...kinda sux actually, but I still wanna see it for the nice chara design anyway] I always have a crush on the chara design simply coz I like drawing myself :) staring at them makes me bubbly happy~ [I hate the fact that G-seed Chara design used the same face all the time.. & the nose just totally ugly IMO] lately I enjoy Akiman design~games esp. he's great! look at 'Dragon Quatre'4 & pls don't say that Turn-A didn't get the best design~ all the chara look distinctive they just need alil' development~ they should have put more works into drawing & directing them not using the oldie anime style~ it breaks my heart :XD: I just not into classic anime theseday~ XD
ex.'Planetes' didn't put alot work into the cell-shading [very plain simple too] but I still enjoy it coz the directing was pretty neat~ & the animation was real smooth so if u can't really have the neat visual just put in more effort in directing pls~
VA~ well I don't exactly care much about VA, unless I realise that the person also work for another chara I admire~ I mostly relate to character more than the VA ^^; [eventho I have already get attracted to Hiyama-san voice evenbefore I knew that was him] it's just a bonus point in my opinion coz usually Jap anime got reliable VA unlike Thai VA who r usually sux ~!!! but I also find Eng VA nice too ;)

about the music ^^; if u did read my blog.. u know I'm a R&B fan or pop rock is fine by me.. I just like somthing I could open all the time..just doesn't have to remind me of the story too much [I think G-seed music was rather good coz it passed for pop music..until they exploit the whole idea of 'tied-up' the music chart with anime.. that just silly~! used too much professional singer then the VA doesn't get a chance to sing for the chara IMO..insane Fukada & his gay TMR friend] I think Gainax work used awhole lot better score~ ^_^ I just luff their FLCL OST so much!!
